I'm wondering if anyone actually found the Streaming Lab! What were you doing there? What a name!

Students handed in their first batch of papers, so I've been trying to get back into the swing of things re: grading. I hate grading. I really do. I know you do, too, Sandy. But, students seem to really NEED grades, which obligates me to grade responsibly and well. And I think I do a pretty good job of it, but it really wears me out emotionally and intellectually.

How was Black Poetry Day? Gee--a whole day. How generous. Power Point is pretty easy because I can actually do it. I don't like to sit through power point presentations, though. My colleague here calls teaching with power point "drone pedagogy." I think that's the phrase he uses. I just looked up "drone" in the dictionary. It fits.
